Fundraiser Overview

The Grissom Choral Parents Association is excited to announce a new fundraiser for this Fall: a Grissom Choir Glow Run to be held on the evening of Saturday, November 15th @ 6:00pm! This family-friendly event will bring together runners & walkers alike, with proceeds directly benefiting Grissom Choir and our various expenses that the department has throughout the year.

Grissom Choir GCPA Board Members, alongside the Leadership Team, will be organizing and manning the event, with community members running! The race kicks off and finishes at Grissom High School, with post-race celebrations featuring awards, food trucks, and fun photo opportunities!

Registration

See below for the associated registration fees, based on total miles you wish to run:

5K: $35
10K: $55

All runners (or walkers!) who register by Friday, November 1st, will be guaranteed a Race Packet that includes:

Grissom Choir Glow Run T-Shirt & Sticker/Magnet
Runners Bib
Glow Sticks
Sponsorship "Swag"

While registration is open after November 1st up through the day of the event, there will be no guarantee the above items will be available!

The entry fee is non-refundable. This event will take place rain or shine, regardless of temperature. In the event of extreme circumstances requiring cancellation, no refunds will be issued; instead, your entry fee will be considered a donation to the Grissom Choral Parents Association.

At the end of the Registration process, you will be instantly directed to MySchoolFees to pay for your Registration. Please ensure you "Add to Cart" the correct Route upon which you are registering for.

Race-day Information

Race-Day Packet Pick-Up & Day-Of Registration will begin at 5:00pm on Saturday, November 15th, 2025. The Schedule is as follows:

5:00pm - Packet Pickup & Day-Of Registration Opens
5:30pm - Day-Of Registration Closes
5:45pm - Packet Pick-up Closes
6:00pm - Glow Run
7:30pm - Presentation of Awards

Water stop locations will be located at the halfway mark for both the 5k & 10K Routes.

Award Medals will be given to the top male and female runners, per route, for the below age-groups

9 years old & younger
10-19 years old
20-29 years old
30-39 years old
40-49 years old
50-59 years old
60 years old & older

Sponsorships

We need sponsors in order to make this event a success! When you support the Grissom Choir Glow Run, you are supporting our student's and their continued Music Education!

Sponsorship Levels:

Gold - $250: Logo on Race Shirts, Website, & Social Media
Silver - $150: Log0 on Website and Social Media
Bronze - $50: Logo on Website

Checks can be made out to "Grissom Choral Parents Association" and sent to our Treasurer's address: 11322 Hillwood Drive SE Huntsville, AL 35803, alongside the downloading the Sponsorship Form.

Logos and checks must be received by November 1st, 2025 in order to be included on the Race Shirts. The print logo must be in one of the following formats: .jpg or .png.

We also encourage donation items to be included in the Race Day Packet. This is a great way to get your business name directly into the hands of participants. Items could include but are not limited to:

Gift Cards and/or Coupons
Other Fun Giveaway Items
