Open House
Our annual PTSA Open House is this Tuesday evening, beginning at 6:00 PM in our Auditorium. This is a great opportunity to hear how you can get involved in our PTSA, followed by an opportunity to explore the building and meet the teachers. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
ACT WorkKeys (11th Grade Only)
This Wednesday, all 11th Grade students will participate in ACT WorkKeys testing. This is a makeup date from last May, when the district platform encountered technical difficulties.
The ACT WorkKeys measures essential real-world skills such as applied mathematics, graphic literacy, and reading workplace documents, helping our students potentially earn a College and Career Readiness Indicator (CCRI) prior to entering college or the workforce.
Only 11th grade students will test on Wednesday. All other students will have a regularly scheduled day of classes.
Club Day(s)
Each year, our clubs and extracurricular programs host a Club Day for students in the Gymnasium during Advisory. This is a great opportunity for your Tiger to learn about the many ways they can get involved here at Grissom. Juniors and Seniors will attend on 08/25, and Sophomores and Freshmen will attend on 08/27. There is something for everyone, so please encourage your Tiger to get involved!
