It's Homecoming Week!
This year’s theme for our Homecoming Dance is "Midnight Melodies," and will take place in the Gymnasium the night of September 26th, 8-11 PM. Tickets will be on sale in the Cafeteria during lunch every day this week. Single tickets are $20, couples tickets are $30.
Our annual Homecoming Parade will take place this Thursday, beginning at 5:00 PM. The route spans from Chaffee Elementary School to Grissom High School, with on-campus fun over by the GHS Baseball field afterward. Students from all over our feeder pattern will be taking part in this event, so join us for a dunk tank, home run derby, concessions, a silent auction, and more!
It's a spirit week! Students and staff are encouraged to showcase their Homecoming spirit with the following dress-up days:
Monday - Monochrome Monday (wear 1 color)
Tuesday - Twinkle Tuesday (wear fancy starry or metallic clothes)
Wednesday - Meme Day
Thursday - Pajama Day
Friday - Color Day (Seniors-orange, Juniors-white, Sophomores-brown, Freshmen-neon)
Makeup Day for students still needing their picture for the yearbook will take place on October 13th. Seniors may Register for Senior Tux & Drape - Absentee at Grissom High School on the Spoiled Rotten Photography Website.
