Students at the Huntsville Center for Technology recently received hands-on support during a dedicated FAFSA Day designed to help them take the next step toward college and career success.
Huntsville Center for Technology Career Coaches partnered with HCS District College Counselor, Nancy Wolfe, and representatives from Calhoun Community College to provide individualized assistance throughout the event. Students were guided through completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a critical step in securing financial aid for college.
HCT welcomed Hannah Beck, Outreach Advisor for Calhoun Community College, and Karlton Stephens, Financial Aid Advisor for Calhoun Community College. Together, they worked alongside students to complete FAFSA applications, apply to college, and explore scholarship opportunities.
The event provided students with valuable one-on-one support, ensuring they understood the application process and felt confident submitting important documents. By offering direct access to experienced counselors and financial aid professionals, HCT continues to remove barriers and open doors for students pursuing higher education.
FAFSA Day reflects the Huntsville Center for Technology’s commitment to preparing students not only with career skills, but also with the resources and guidance needed to successfully transition to careers, college, and beyond.
