The Huntsville Center for Technology is celebrating an outstanding achievement as students delivered an exceptional performance at the SkillsUSA State Conference. After months of preparation, dedication, and hands-on practice, these students rose to the occasion and demonstrated their skills on a competitive stage.

Their hard work was recognized with the prestigious Chapter of Excellence GOLD and QUALITY distinction. This is an honor that reflects the strength of both the program and the students’ commitment to excellence.

In addition to this recognition, students earned top placements across multiple competitive categories:

  • 1st Place – Engineering Technical Design

  • 2nd Place – Community Service

  • 2nd Place – Technical Drafting

  • 3rd Place – Welding Sculpture

Each competition required not only technical knowledge, but also creativity, problem-solving, and professionalism. The results speak to the countless hours these students invested in preparing for this moment.

“This success is a direct reflection of the dedication and perseverance our students bring to their craft,” said Cody Daniel, welding instructor. “We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and the way they represented our school.”

With this strong showing at the state level, the Huntsville Center for Technology is excited to announce that qualifying students will advance to the national stage. As they prepare for the SkillsUSA National Conference, they carry with them the pride of their school and community.

Congratulations to all of our students and advisors on this incredible achievement!
