Third grade students took a field trip to Monte Sano State Park and Land Trust for the “Fossil Find” experience today. During the visit, students became paleontologists as they searched for fossils in a local fossil bed. The hands-on activity allowed them to uncover and identify plant-rich geologic history beneath their feet. Teachers said the learning adventure helped bring science lessons to life. The trip was an exciting and educational day for everyone involved.
