James I. Dawson Elementary School celebrated Black History Month with a special program honoring the theme, “Black History – A Legacy of Excellence.” Students, staff, and families gathered in the gymnasium to recognize the achievements and contributions of African Americans throughout history. The program highlighted the lasting impact of African American leaders, innovators, and trailblazers. It was a meaningful celebration of culture, leadership, and perseverance. The event served as a reminder of the legacy of excellence that continues to inspire our school community.
