Huntsville City Schools (HCS) is proud to announce that it has been recognized among Forbes’ America’s Best Employers by State for 2025. HCS ranked No. 10 for "Best companies based in Alabama to work for in 2025."

Forbes partnered with Statista to conduct one of the most comprehensive surveys of its kind, gathering input from more than 160,000 employees across the United States. The study focused on organizations with 500 or more employees and assessed critical factors such as pay equity, workplace culture, and opportunities for advancement.

This recognition reflects HCS' sustained commitment to nurturing a positive and supportive work environment. HCS prioritizes employee growth through professional development opportunities, including the Raise Your Hand initiative in partnership with the Huntsville Committee of 100 and The Schools Foundation to cover the cost of attaining National Board Certification for educators.

Huntsville City Schools serves over 24,000 students across more than 40 schools, supported by nearly 2,500 teachers and employees.

HCS is honored to stand alongside other organizations that play a vital role in shaping the state’s economy and workforce. HCS extends its heartfelt thanks to all employees whose passion and commitment make HCS a standout workplace.
