Mazda Foundation Representatives with Chapman Principal and School Staff

Huntsville City Schools was proud to recently welcome representatives from The Mazda Foundation, Autos Drive America, Mazda North America, and the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association for a special site visit at Chapman Middle School.

The Mazda Foundation has provided generous grants to support FUSE STEM Studios at Chapman Middle, McNair Junior High, Huntsville Junior High, and Williams Elementary—the only schools in North Alabama selected for this opportunity.

During the visit, our guests saw firsthand how HCS students are engaging in digital STEAM challenges, hands-on STEM projects, 3D printing and designing, and hybrid activities that strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed for future STEM careers.

We are grateful for this partnership and the incredible impact it is making across Huntsville City Schools. Together, we are ensuring our students have access to high-quality STEM learning opportunities and the resources they need to succeed.
