HCS will dismiss early on Friday, Aug. 30th for students! Schools will dismiss at the following times:
-11:30 AM: Elementary Schools
-12 PM: Middle/Junior High Schools (including all grades for AAA and ASFL)
-12:40 PM: High Schools
Additionally, schools and offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2nd in observance of Labor Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 3rd, and progress reports will be sent home.

The Huntsville City Schools Title VI Indian Education Program is a federal
program that provides Native American cultural enrichment and educational
support to students who are members, or have parents or grandparents who
are members of a state or federally recognized Native American tribe.
Teresa Dent, Behavioral Learning Coordinator, will present an overview of the 2024-2025 HCS Student Code of Conduct & Matrices, information regarding BLOOM, Restorative Practices, and PBIS via HCS Facebook Live on Aug. 29 at 2 PM!
ONE MONTH AWAY❗: The first day of school will be Thursday, Aug. 1st!
Schools and offices will be closed Wednesday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. HCS will reopen on Thursday, June 20.
The HCS Summer Magnet application will be open until June 20, 2024! Only magnet programs with availability will be open.
